Deep Exotic Meditative Kokin Akebono Bamboo Flute in the key of low G#. Rustic oriental flute. Ethnic asian flute. Deep transporting voice

This is an exotic sounding bass flute, with a hybrid japanese sounding scale:
a mixture between the kokin and the akebono modes. It is 73 cm (27.5 inches)
long and 4 cm (1.57 in) in diameter. It is tuned in low D.

The holes sizes range between 8 and 10 mm.

Although it is a considerably long flute for a beginner, the fingering pattern
makes it easy for anyone with small hands to play it. It has five frontal
holes. This oriental mode with its moody tone makes it a great meditative
instrument.

This piece of adult Phyllostachys bamboo was cured by the shade and both the
interior and exteior were protected with almonds oil and beeswax. It was then
ended with dark waxed thread, giving it a rustic oriental look. It also has a
top cap made out of vintage african mahogany.

Please note that this flute has natural imperfections and is not perfectly
straight! :)
