Fanny Brice was an early 20th century stage talent immortalized by Barbra
Streisand as "Funny Girl." But have you ever heard the original? Here she is --
Fania Borach (1891-1951), the Ziegfeld Follies comic, singer, actress and
radio's Baby Snooks, delivering her signature songs "Second Hand Rose" and "My
Man," at the height of her fame.
This compilation album of old 78rpm recordings doesn't seem to have been
released on CD. So grab this vinyl copy reissued after Streisand's '60s "Funny
Girl" triumphs on stage and screen. They brought Brice back into the pop
culture consciousness after generations away.
Now she's back again, thanks to Broadway's 2022 "Funny Girl" revival.

All of our vintage vinyl finds are expertly wet-cleaned, and returned to their
jackets inside fresh new inner sleeves. (If a record was found with a custom
inner sleeve, we'll include that, too.) They are spot-played to ensure no
overall listening problems. Due to the nature of pre-loved vinyl, a few
scattered pops/clicks may remain from the records' previous years of service.
We strive to find these vintage artifacts in the best condition, but at the
lowest prices, to give you affordable fine listening. With proper care, this
record should provide many more decades of enjoyment!
BONUS - Order more than one album, and we'll include a FREE item as our gift
to you.
