Guitar Strap, Woven Cotton, Acoustic or Electric Guitar Strap,Banjo Strap

Each guitar strap is designed and woven by me one at a time on a small inkle
loom in my home near Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The last photo shows me
weaving at my loom. I take my inspiration from the rich Southwestern landscape
and the lovely art which I discover in my daily life.

I use a spontaneous design process and never make two straps exactly alike.
The colors in this one include 3 shades of dark purple and dark red.
The wavy pattern is created with a slow technique called "Baltic Pickup". This
requires me to stop in every row and manipulate some threads out of their
normal sequence to create the fancy pattern.
