Baby, if you got hooked on Mac Davis in the '70s, '80s or beyond, this is the

Ghetto"). Then a hit singer ("Baby, Don't Get Hooked on Me," "Texas in My
Rearview Mirror"). And a busy actor (movie "North Dallas Forty," Broadway's
"Will Rogers Follies," TV's "Rodney").

Both of these albums feature chart singles for Davis (1942-2020). "I Believe
in Music" has the signature title tune, plus the Elvis Presley smash "A Little
Less Conversation" and Bobby Goldsboro's "Watching Scotty Grow." The title song
of "Stop and Smell the Roses" is joined by Davis' soulful "One Hell of a Woman."

He had a knack for rock, country, and even pop ballads that singers are still
