The MidiVolts Arduino Uno/ Leo Shield is a four Voice Midi to CV controller
for use with analog and modular synthesizers. The shield consists of 4
independent voices of 0-5V Pitch CV and an associated 5V Gate CV. With the
MidiVolts code programmed onto an Arduino (available on Github), the shield can
be used to control multiple Voltage Controlled Oscillators, or Analog
Synthesizers with one Midi controller. MidiVolts also contains Pitch Bend with
adjustable bend range, and a Midi Clock to 5V pulse.

Change one line of the MidiVolts code, and MidiVolts can be changed to the
following 7 operation modes:
1 Voice Monophonic on V0 With Velocity on V1, Aftertouch on V2, And Mod Wheel
on V3
2 Voice Duophonic on V0, V1 With Velocity on V2 And V3 Respectively
3 Voice Polyphonic on V0, V1, V2 With Mod Wheel on V3
4 Voice Polyphonic on V0, V1, V2, V3
4 Voice Unison on V0, V1, V2, V3
1 Voice Monophonic on V0 with CC2 on V1, CC3 on V2, CC4 on V3
CC Controller with CC1 on V0, CC2 on V1, CC3 on V2, CC4 on V3
MidiVolts shield contains four LEDs for indicating which of the Voices is in
use, and one LED for indicating Midi Clock tempo. The project includes Open
Source code so you can build what you want! With a bit of coding, you can
create a step sequencer or even a wavetable synth!

MCP4728 4 channel DAC
PCB includes placement for optional RX Toggle switch for easy development. Cut
trace to enable this mode. Switch not included.
The open source code includes the ability to adjust the Offset Error and Gain
Error of the MCP4728 for each channel. These values can be adjusted to obtain
near perfect pitch scaling. This is not required.
