This Song is from the "Repertoire Classique du Chant Francais". Consider it is
over 100 years old, is in very good condition. There is a light green color to
the graphics and very delicate. There is a home made paper binding on the spine
and inside that someone made to hold the sheets together. Just to know the
history makes it worthwhile to have it in your possession. It is very old paper
therefore returns and exchange is not accepted due to how delicate it is.
This was printed to teach voice lessons for the Conservatory of Brussels as
well as for any other school of music. It is important, if you know French, to
read the introduction as is gives us important information on why this
Repertoire was created, how to sing the piece and where to breath. This lesson
is one of series of lessons (no. 123).
About the composer:
Etienne Nicolas Mehul was a French composer. He was a very important opera

wrote several operas: Utah, Stratonice, Le Jeune Henri, Euphrosine and Ariodant
which is this music sheet.
The Preface was written by F. A Gavaert, in Brussels on Nov 3, 1886. He was a
Belgian musicologist and composer himself (1828-1908).
Editeur: Henry Lemoine
