This Pontian Lyra is entirely handmade from Cherry wood with amazing natural
wood grains, fingerboard EbonyWood ,pegs Ebonywood,top bridge ebony, tailpiece
A unique instrument and Lifetime masterpiece with unique sense of taping.

The glue used is from fish scales and glaze from tree resin ( shellac ) .
It can be used for any level of Pontian Lyra-kemence musicians.

All Mr.Papadopoulos Vasileios original instruments,have the unique pyrography
family signature at the back as shown at photos.

The spruce and maple wood is from European and Canadian Mountains seasoned
naturally for 5-15 years. Exotic wood like mahogany, rosewood, ebony is also
used in some cases.Sometimes plum wood is used.
