Sun&Moon Pattern Long Handled Shipibo Rattle from Peru with Macaw Feathers - Shaker, Maraca, Shamanic Instruments, Medicine, Hand Carved

This rattle was made by hand in Peru. Each rattle has been meticulously carved
with geometric patterns and designs and/or different animal totems of the
Amazon jungle. Colored string is wrapped above and below the gourd and the top
is adorned with macaw feathers. Each rattle has a strong and crisp sound and is
an excellent tool for making music or accompanying shamanic medicine songs. It
has a firm feel in the hand and is a solid instrument.

This rattle features a sun on one side and a moon on the other. It has two
colorful macaw feathers on the top.
