This extra-large beechwood thunderdrum is intense. Create a storm of sound by
striking both skins, dragging a beater along the spring and of course, just
waving the drum using the whole or the handle..

I build the bodies with solid Beachwood planks, sand smooth and coat in a wax
style clear varnish with or without walnut or mahogany stain. The two membranes
are natural goatskin. The spring diameter is 1cm and around 70cm in length.

Decorative trim varies depending on what I have available.
